Press feet into brown paint and then onto white paper, add eyes, antlers and a red pom pom nose and ta-da! We have Rudolph.
And because we have two sets of feet, we used one of each to create a picture for BOTH sets of Grandparents!

It uses a paper plate, ribbon, sellotape and glitter and paint.
You need to cut the plate into three different sized triangles, then get the kids to paint them.
Allow them to dry then attach them like so:
This was an activity I found on Pinterest you need:
1 x Dozen Egg Box
Red Paint
Green Paint
Yelllow Paint
Purple Pipe Cleaners
Paint the egg boxes all green except for one compartment which should be red. Add a yellow splodge to the top of each compartment and two for the eyes. Half the purple pipe cleaners and stick two in the red compartment for antennae.
Next experiment of today involved talking about the primary colours and how to make new colours.
Using same mini bottle I filled it three quarters of the way with warm water (I used warm water as I figure this will help to dissolve the paint) I got M to squirt in some red paint and then some yellow paint which of course sank to the bottom.
After putting on the lid I told M to give it a good shake and see what happened. I think she was so taken aback by it all she lost the word for orange and just stared blankly at me when I asked her what colour it was.
